Default Cutting Flowers

I am going to start a new bed for cutting flowers. Can anyone give good
examples of flowers/greenery that will push into an oasis.

Thanks

I cant think of any flowers that you cant us with "wet oasis" and if you use
flower feed then you will prolong their life a few extra days and it does
help stop the water going off.

If on the other hand you really do want flowers that you can push into an
oasis then I would stick to things in pots

For greenery, Pittosporum, Cryptomeria, maclayea, fatsias, ivies, vinca,
larger ferns, muehlenbeckia (sp), hostas in season, ligularia.
Don't forget coloured and twisted stems for structure.
For cut flowers: lots of daffs, tulips, hyacinths, anenomes, hellebores,
some paeonies, roses, carnations, alstroemeria, dahlias, chrysanths, lilies,
astilbes, rudbeckia, wands of cytisis (broom) in season, knautia, cleome,
antirhinnums.

For further ideas, have a look in a good florists. Choose plant material
that you like, or which is particularly expensive to buy.
