Default Caterpillar help

What's small, green with black spots and a yellow head, and can strip a
standard rose of all its leaves in 2 days?

I've just remembered last year's menace and realised I've done nothing about
it. What are they?

Thanks,

Laurence

They could be sawfly larvae. They look just like little caterpillars. I
usually get them on my Gooseberries but apparently they're common on roses
too.
