Default Carrot germination

I sowed some carrots and parsnips about three weeks ago. I
wouldn't expect to see the parsnips yet, but surely the
carrots ought to have appeared by now? How long should they
take?

Mine are the same. About now I should think, don't forget we've had some
cool nights and in Plymouth we had a slight frost on Thursday night, almost
unheard of

I planted mine about 4-6 weeks ago and they only started to appear last
week - still very, very small seedlings and not doing a lot! Same with the
beetroot.

As for the spinach - no sign of it what so ever!

On the plus side, potatoes, onions, beans and garlic are growing
(reasonably) well - and for some reason the coriander is growing like
crazy - I though that this only grew well when it was hot!?

Well, mine should be a bit behind then, as I'm in Scotland.
Are there any pictures of baby carrot and parsnip
seedlings so I'll know them when I see them?
