OK - here is the scenario - inexperienced gardener with very little money, - need something that grows quickly, is easy to obtain, to cover unsightly wooden fencing - evergreen preferred It helps if we know the region in which you live because then people won't advise you on something that might be too tender for that area. But off the top of my head, Clematis armandii, Holboellia coriacea, if you can find it (don't forget the possibility of mail order) -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon (remove the weeds to email me) |

She said inexpensive. Mail-order perennials are not inexpensive.
Morning glories from seed from a local store would be very inexpensive in comparison. "Sacha" wrote in message . uk... Not if you consider the non-narcotic potential benifits of the hemp plant (good for making paper/rope/cloth etc, grows anywhere at a moments notice) and the threat it posed to the cotton industry way back when. |
