Default Chrysanth cuttings

I know its late for this but I sent for fifty chrysanth cuttings from a
nursery advertising in the Garden News back in March. They cashed the cheque
but nothing arrived and last week after I sent a letter asking where my
cuttings were I got a run around!

Old story ,.... sent poor cuttings, not what I asked for and not even the
quantity I ordered - which were actually dead I suspect dead when packed
judging by the state of them but certainly in less than 24 hours whilst in
the post.

All in all a big mistake on my part .

What pee's me off most is that the nursery concerned is still advertising!

I have written to try and get my money back.

Meanwhile I am here a chrysanth bed all prepared without chrysanth cuttings
.. I would like blooms and sprays, I had ordered a number of named varieties
but I know I cant be fussy now.

Anyone know of a specialist in the Devon /Cornwall region - say around 30/40
miles radius of Plymouth , where I can go and get some?

Also anyone else had a problem similar to mine with mail order cuttings?

The company I use is Collinwood Nurseries which is closing due to various
circumstances but before I used them I used to get lovely Chrysanth plants
in the pannier market at the bottom of town in the City Centre. I suspect
you will still get them there. I believe Thursday is the best day

No. I fear I did not. they did not take credit cards. It was strictly
cheque payment with order.
I have learned not to be so trusting. They cant even bother to answer me
now.
The nursery is in Malvern. Advertises in Garden News every week.

Please don't be shy. What is the name of the nursery?
