The real rain is very welcome although this very strong wind is doing/has
done some damage, trees down, branches broken off. Not been down the
allotments yet!

As for the other sort of rain, not seen any at all myself, such is my news
server, and all the others are in my blocked senders list as soon as they
make one post.

Bad? it's was desparately needed here. 2 inches in 2 days and things
looking a lot better. Fair amount of fallen branches everywhere. Not
allowed to work for 6 weeks - trying to keep my hands in my pockets
while I'm walking around the garden - grrrr. I haven't seen any of the
spam flood - the other stuff goes straight to the bottom of the midden
anyway.

It may be coincidence, but it seems to me that there are a lot of very
stupid people called "Bob" around right now.

How large can your list grow, Bob ?

All bobs are pricks, this one bigger than most. Will do anything for
attention.

Still here. The real rain has been very welcome, but the spam rain is
deluging everything. Several thousands and still pouring in.

Very true.

Gardeners of course aren't discouraged easily. Developing a garden is a
long-term project and pests are expected and accommodated in their
season.

Still here. Gardeners are adaptable people and can work out ways to
turn manure and other peoples' unwanted rubbish to their advantage.
While the deluge was in full flow, the dog and I took a walk up the lane
to the farm steading, where the shearing shed is ankle deep in straw,
sheep muck and wool waste. A free, magical mix for composting and
mulching which I'll collect later, and all thanks to a troll :-)
