My mangetout peas (Carouby de Maussane) are about 6 feet tall, but there are
only a dozen or so flowers right at the very top. There are no flowers
anywhere else along the plants.

The plants are in large pots, moist general purpose soil, sun most of the
day.

What have I done wrong?
