mildew on scheffleria
I've got what I think is mildew on the upper leaves of a couple of umbrella plants. They're in a room which doesn't get the door or windows opened very much because the cats are not allowed in so this is probably what has caused it with the damp weather we've been having. The question is: do all the affected leaves need to be removed before spraying with a fungicide (as per the book) or can the mildew just be washed off the leaves? It'll leave the plants a bit bare if all the affected leaves need to be taken off ;-(( ! Many thanks in advance for any advice. |
