Default Seek Service info for Hedgecutter

I have a Stihl HS85 hedgecutter and I just can't get the gearbox grease plug
to budge. Any tips for getting it out, the star teeth are already pretty
chewed.

In general is there a website anywhere with diy info for servicing petrol
hedgecutters and similar equipment? I can't find anything, nor does there
seem to be an ng. for garden machinery.
thanks

Hi Mutley,

I assume you've tried WD40, freeze spray etc?

Personally I'd whip it down to the local Stihl service dealer, where they
could also replace the plug with the chewed up teeth :-).

To find a service centre near you see:
