Hills' book on organic fruit and veg growing somewhere you won't regret it, as it has a lot of specialist info the keen organic (or any) gardener will find particularly useful. More recent titles are at: http://www.organiccatalog.com/catalo...roducts_id=765 For sowing times etc, the seed catalogues are reliable and free; and the instructions on seed packets are by the same people who write the books. For more detail, there's a huge amount of information in Joy Larkcom's 'Growing Vegetables' - very reliable and excellent value. Janet G |
