The message
from "Mike Lyle" contains these words: I'd prefer to compost it first. In my time I _have_ dug long dung in and got away with it; but it's not standard procedure. Plants don't like it much. Depends on the plants. Celery and cauliflowers, and most cucurbits revel in it. I don't know abut border plants, I don't tend to play with those unless they give themselves up. -- Rusty Open the creaking gate to make a horrid.squeak, then lower the foobar. http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/hi-fi/ |
