Default Floppy Crocus?

Last year I planted a variety of bulbs, including some crocus. These have
flowered, but some of them - particularly a yellow variety - seem to
'flop'. The main stem goes pale white and falls over. Sometimes before the
flower has fully opened.

I have put up a webpage which has a couple of photos showing what I mean in
case the above isn't a clear description.

Can anyone explain what I did wrong, and what the cause may be?

Slainte,

Jim

Deja - vu here. Someone asked this just a few weeks ago. Here's the
thread on Google groups... should answer your question!
