I have a 4ft eucalyptus gunni which is rather leggy. I want to bulk it out,
how should I prune it?

You can cut it to well under six inches from the ground now (actually
I'd have done it a couple of weeks ago), and it'll coppice nicely. In
fact you probably should: unless it's in a space big enough to display
it in its natural form, it'll quickly get too big and have to come out.
