I saw something called a flowform on TV a while ago. It's a very simple
organic shape carved out of stone in such a way that the water oscillates,
flowing first one way then another. They look very simple and very relaxing.
I found this site with pictures but I think you really need to see one in
operation to appreciate it. Very simple apart from having to get them
completely level. Very unusual as well.

For less than £30 I put in one of those pre-formed, oblong approx 3ft x 2ft
x 15ins deep ponds.
I have in touch with uk ponds for advice and have decided to spend about £12
(mail order) on 1 lilly, some oxygenators and some marginals.
I will nor add fish, all the probs associated with cats, feeding and
filtration etc. It looks quite twee and at 50 odd gallons, I would regard it
as a feature rather than a pond. Regards ..........
