Lawn Fertilizer Spreader
if you were to buy a lawn fertiler spreader, whch one would you get?
W bought an Evergreen Easy Spreader and it is worse than useless leaving lines of grass un fertilised :-( We do not have acres of lawn to fertilise so do not need anything too elaborate. thank you Elma Elma Renfrewshire, Scotland, UK |

I bought a SCOTTS "Speedy Green" Lawn spreader form a garden centre in Perth, Scotland. I have a number of friends who bought the "cheap" type and found them useless and now borrow mine! Suggest you Goggle for a supplier Blair |

For a smallish lawn I wouldn't buy another spreader, I would spend the money on the slow release granular fertiliser which has spreader built in to the pack. -- hugh Reply to address is valid at the time of posting |

Cover up a few of the holes and then you scoop up a load of fertiliser and hold it in front of you, shaking it with a vigourous circular motion ( so the top of the pot stays relatively still and the bottom does a cirlce. walk briskly doing this over the lawn in different directions and you'll get a perfect covering. -- Martin & Anna Sykes ( Remove x's when replying ) http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~sykesm |
