Question broad leaf weeds, and lawns

Help!!!!

I absolutely hate gardening, but now I'm single I guess it's time to start learning..

My problem appears to be that my grass although green, is full of daisies and braod leaf weeds,
I have recently seeded a couple of areas, which have come up lovely so I would imagine I need to be careful with treatment..

can anyone please recommend a suitable deterent that isn't too difficult for a novice like myself

Thank you

Regular mowing should do the trick, but daisies "are" lovely!
