Tree suggestions
Without too much thought, what about an Avocardo.
"augie" wrote in message ... I'd love to hear some opinions on the following scenario - for those that are familiar, or live in South East Brisbane. A large backyard, almost cleared of foliage. To come, a shed on the Western Side, in the far back corner. A pool, in the Eastern side, mid to back section of yard. Eastern side is / will be palms, lilli pilli etc (wind break and 2 story neighbour that side. On the Eastern back corner of the shed, we want to plant a tree. A tree that will reach a good size, it's far enough away from the pool to be safe root wise, and will have the potential to shade the entertainment area (eventually situated to the west and front of tree between shed and pool). The tree would need to: 1. reach a decent size, and with luck, have potential to canopy; 2. Not be fully deciduous for obvious reasons 3. Ideally, be attractive for bird life 4. Suit the climate here in SE QLD - midway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Your ideas will be investigated, thanks! -- fini. |
