Dried Tomatoes
I have a French inpired book re garden design, and in it is these tomaotoes
hanging in the shade of the verandah for drying. I have heard of and seen sliced tomatoes sun dried on racks and done in a low heat oven with the door slightly ajar. Has anyone dried the whole bush before? Its an interesting idea but wonder what they'd be like. Cheers, Wallaby (Hawkesbury Region) |

In frost-prone areas, bushes with late green tomatoes on them are dealt with in this way in the hope of the tomatoes ripening. -- Chookie -- Sydney, Australia (Replace "foulspambegone" with "optushome" to reply) "In Melbourne there is plenty of vigour and eagerness, but there is nothing worth being eager or vigorous about."
