Sick eggplants

Do we get frost here? Average min temp is about 8C. Wouldn't it need to get down to 0C for a frost? Average has nothing to do with it. We have had several mornings where the minimum has been 1C and lots at around 4C. This is frost time as water starts to freeze at 4C. |
