From the wikipedia site on water melons
The citrulline which exists in watermelon (especially in the rind)
is a known stimulator of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is thought to
relax and expand blood vessels, much like the erectile dysfunction
drug Viagra, and may even increase libido.[32]
Apparently the rind is edible...

LOL! That's downright subversive, that is!

Yep and that explains the black non american natives sexual prowess
perhaps...
And may stop them being stereo typed feeding on large amounts of water
melon.

My husband doesn't need to know this small factoid about watermelons
and I will be Vigilant that he doesn't eat too much of the stuff. For
his own well-being, you understand... ;-

I would have thought you would have been thinking about it for yourself
perhaps.
Nothing exceeds excess....
FWIW, me dear old Mum ate watermelon rind when she was a tot and
nearly died of ulcerative colitis caused, as the doctors said, by the
'chemicals' in the rind.

Now you're putting people of, after me encouraging them to be fruitful.
Why do some people always spoil a good thing... (grinning from ear to
ear while desperately waiting for the water melons in his own patch to
ripen)
One inch of rain so far....11 55. good night....
