Default Gardening Australia for the axe?

Has anyone heard anything about the proposed axeing of Gardening
Australia?

I heard about it he
http://www.livejournal.com/community...1.html?#cutid1,
but this is the first I've heard. If it's true, then there needs to be
a public action taken. I'd hate to see then end of that marvelous
show.
