Default [IBC] was Rosemary, now rue

Found a nice woody looking Rue (Rutus, national herb
of Lithuania) in a nursery the other day. Are most
woody herbs treated the same as bonsai? How about the
collection process? I have two other very nicely
trunked herbs in the front garden.

The one rosemary I was allowed to collect had so few
roots, it was pathetic. I pruned back foliage to
match root volume, but it is now compost.
