Default [IBC] beginner,help with juniper

Hello,
I live in tennessee and i recently bought a juniperis chinensis

sargentii
from a local nursery.I put several large roots that i pruned in

small
containers with hopes that they may become small mame

bonsai.Will they produce
foliage(they are completely bare at this point)and thrive....or

am i just
waisting my time lol.Anyone who can answer my questions can

just e-mail me.

I've never heard of a juniper growing from a root cutting. And
even if they will root that way, it's a bit late in the year to
be starting a cutting, I suspect.

(It's also the wrong time of year to be working on a juniper's
roots to get the cuttings.)

Good luck.
