Folks,

I posted this in misc.house.consumer or something like that and only
got one [ableit excellent] response, so please forgive if its not
relevant. I want to add some grass seed to my lawn but don't want to
do the fertilizer and sprinkler thing. What kind of grass seed or mix
would you recommend for Southern Maine? Any ideas much appreciated.

Call your Cooperative Extension agent. They know stuff like this. Look
in the phone book under Federal govt.; Dept. of Agriculture (or USDA).
