Default Amazon sword

My swords are growing like crazy. It's wonderful. All 3 are shooting up
stalks that have 2-3, what apear to be new plants on them. The new plants
are beginning to grow roots. At what point can I snip these off and plant
them?

when the roots get maybe an inch long, you can bury them and hope and pray
that they take off......

was told you can snip them off and weight them down, or just bend the stalk
in half and weight them down without cutting them off...

I snipped.... and I'm praying... so far they look ok... one bigger one has
taken root....
