Default Loropetalum Purple Diamond

I just bought this variety at Lowe's Home Improvement Store today.
There was no information about the mature size of this variety. Has
anyone heard of this variety and have information regarding it? I did
an Internet search and could find nothing. I know what most varieties
grow to, but I also know some smaller varieties are being developed
and wondered if this is one. I'd appreciate any knowledge you can
share.

I too purchased this plant at Lowes and wish I could give you an
answer. It is very pretty and obviously can be kept at a specific
size, but I also would appreciate any knowledge if anyone out there
knows of this plant. I have some friends that are horticulturalists
and will try to find some answers. If I do I will certainly pass them
along.

Hi Mar again,

I just spoke with the Garden specialist at Lowe's ( I used to work at
Lowe's in the same position and know Adrian well) and he said that it
will have generally the same dimensions and characteristics as
Loropetalum chinensis 'Pizzaz'. 6-8' high and wide but can definitely
be kept smaller. I am going to keep mine about 3-4' as they are going
in front of the house and I don't want them rising above the raised
porch. Great color don't you think?
