Default traveler's palm wind damage?

hi,

i have a traveler's palm that is about 6 or 7 ft tall now. one of the major
leaves or fronds i guess you might call it, was damaged by wind. it is bent
over now at a 90deg. angle. it is creased. i staked it to straighten it. do
you think it will be ok adn regain strength or should i cut it off?

any sugestions will be appreciated.

thanks,

mike
