Usually, at least with Israel, Egypt, and Jordan, half of foreign aid is
used to purchase U.S. made weapon systems, thus feeding the
military-industrial complex.

Curiously, Israel has a median household income of $37,000 and U.S.
foreign aid adds $500/person to that.

The U.S. is providing Israel with at least $8.2 million each day* in
military aid and is giving the Palestinians $0** in military aid during
Fiscal Year 2011.

Interesting how certain posters go ballistic about "foreign aid" to
Israel (most of which is spent here in the U.S. for arms manufacture
from Israeli inventions (the Israelis would have loved to give the
work to their own people, but no.....)

Another thing that these types never mention is that Egypt gets
almost as many billions as Israel, but spends it on such cultural
niceties as obscene, vicious ani-Israel anti-Jewish attacks on
government TV. Also on government repression (seen the headlines
lately -- young Egyptians trying to throw off the Mubarak yoke these
30 years). Also on genital mutilation of women (90% of Egyptian women
are said to be genitally mutilated). To try to reduce the dreadful
consequences of m genital mutilation in the villages (non-sterile
knives or stones; mutilation closed with thorns; horrendous scarring;
sepsis, death, the horror of first intercourse, then childbirth) -- to
try to cut down on these, doctors do the mutilation in hospitals,
partially supported with U.S "aid" to Egypt = your tax dollars.

For a friendly, peace loving country, it is odd that the U.S. supports
such repressive countries.

Where is it stated about the US being a peaceful loving company? The number
one export of the US is weapon systems. The government gives foreign aid to
nations they in turn purchase weapon systems from the US. This is in turn
like indirectly subsidizing the military industrial complex at the expense
of the taxpayer. The US sells weapon systems to just about every nation in
the world. Even in the U.S. has the highest gun rate per population of the
entire world and the highest murder rate in the world. Where did you get
the idea that the U.S. Is a peace loving country???

You should read the US constitution! It states "For the corporation by the
the corporation". It is a myth that it states "for the people" that old
part of the constitution was shredded years ago.
