Default Help! Is it deer or rabbit food?

Hi all,

For the second year in a row my lilies are just 3" nubs because something is
eating them. I have Star Gazer lilies and another similar variety. Is there
anything I can do to discourage the animals? I thought I remember someone
saying planting marigolds around them may help but since I don't know what's
eating them it's hard to know if this is sound advice.

Thanks for any input!

I've found the Deer Off helps. Spray it on the plants every 4 or 5 days and
after it rains. It's made from a combination of hot pepper, eggs and
something else organic I can't remember right now.

Thank you! It's so sad seeing the way these flowers look right now...
