If you seed it, the bermuda will take over and dominate because it
germinates and spreads faster. Unless there is significant shade, in which
case the zoysia will take over because of bermuda's shade intolerance.

The reality is that you will have a lawn consisting of both types of
grasses. It's unlikely that either will completely "choke out" the other.
