Default where to find 15-0-15 fertilizer

The recommended mix of fertilizer for centipede is 15-0-15. Has anyone
found someplace that stocks it. It does not have to be 15 but the N,
and K need to be the same and the P to be 0. In fact if the N is lower
than the K then I can substitute with ammonium nitrate to make up the
difference. So 10-0-15 or such would be ok.

Pennington 18-0-18 Centipede fertilizer should be widely available.

I doubt if it is in the triangle area, but I will make a few calls. I
found it online but the cost is $15 for 20 pounds and $15 for the
shipping.

Lowe's online led me to believe I could order it there but when I put it
in the shopping cart it said call the store. Oh well there is one on
the way home. Sta-green also carries it.

Uhmmmm.... go to wilmington for that stuff since there's more of that exotic
grass there? Maybe Goldsboro? How about mail order? Oh.. but that would
cost you a fortune in shipping! Got goats maybe? There are neighborhood
geese around here i'd love to 'ship' out, want them? LOL.... Just giving
you a hard time Wes. See you at work.

Probably just east of I-95 I can find it. Or the AgriSupply or
SouthernStates in Garner.

Default where to find 15-0-15 fertilizer

Wes,

I have bought Centipede weed & feed at the garden center on Atlantic Avenue
north of Millbrook in Raleigh. I thought the brand was Staygreen, and that
it was owned by Scott's, but google did not turn up any connection. I don't
remember the exact "recipe" of the fertilizer, but I think one of the
numbers was zero. (I also recall the bag as being purple, if that helps.)

Ah, it just occurred to me the name is StaGreen, (no Y), and it is on Lowe's
website:
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...pr oducts&N=0
2nd row, on the right.

Thanks Ann. It is on their website but when you order it they tell you
to contact your local store. Looks like they could at least tell me the
closest store that actually stocks it.

Wes,

Quit screwing around and wasting your time trying to find a 15-0-15...just
go up to Lesco on James Jackson, talk with Phil (the manager) and he will
have something close to those numbers...you don't need exact matches...just
something near that formulation. My opinion, I wouldn't be putting any
nitrogen (the first number) down until at least after April on Centipede. I
would recommend a 0-0-8 with some form of pre-emergence (Pre-M, Barricade,
Dimension) to keep weeds from popping up.

Just my two cents...what do I know?

Tell Phil that Jason with Cary Turf sent you. Don't give the guy a hard
time on pricing...the information he will give you is worth it!
