for a wide variety of trees and shrubs. Has anyone ever been to Penny's
nursery near Fuquay? Already know what type of tree/shrub I need, just
looking for the best quality at the best prices. Thanks.

You will need to know how to speak spanish too...since the only workers you will encounter will not speak any english. Broadwells is cheap, but you get what you pay for!

Big Bloomers is the best gardening store in central NC. Beautiful well
tended plants, great variety of herbs, flowers, and shrubs, and best of
all knowledgeable folks own and run it.

Big Bloomers is great for perennials, but they don't have many shrubs--I
have never seen any trees there.

Rhododendron/Camellia Sales at the N. C. State Fairgrounds. Lots of great
