I hope they are not the psycho lady bugs that have been infesting people's
houses.

The nursery on Atlantic Avenue has them right now. I saw the sign
yesterday. Can't remember the name of it... It's near Atlantic Springs
road.

Oddly enough, it's ... Atlantic Avenue Garden center.

They are staying put quite nicely, which has me surprised.
They have covered all of my roses and are having a feast. I have put a
little pine mulch under each of the bushes like they recommended so that
they will stay local to the plants I have (I guess they set up apartment
life in it)
So far so good everything seems to be working well.

I went and got myself a little bucket, picking up the southern slang as I
live here longer.
I have made a nice little habitat for them and will hope and pray for the
best.
I am hoping to get rid of the little aphids naturally.
I also got some of the mantis eggs while I was there. I will probably let
one of the sacs hatch inside in a friendly environment to let my neighbors
children watch.
This is very exciting and I will let you know how it turns out.
Thanks all for the advice too!

YOu might want to find out if the ladybugs even eat what is on your
roses. Sevin might work better and faster.

Hi JW
The Mantids eat insects, beetles, spiders and not sure what else.. they were
10 and the lady bugs (ladybirds) , the ones I really wanted eat the aphids
like crazy. Those were 10 as well.

I have two egg sacs and really only needed one to be honest of the mantids.
I can't imagine that many of them running around my yard.
