Bletilla striata.
This series was taken (October 2006) at a show staged by the small rural
community of Cobden. Cobden is a 3 hour drive, south west of Melbourne. The
population of the township is approx 1000. Cobden is surrounded and
sustained by a large dairy farming community. Plenty of enthusiastic orchid
growers among them. As you will see, cymbidiums, sarcochilus and other cold
tolerant varieties are their favorites.
