Kat,

I once had a gene gun. But they took it away from me.

In that case, you need to make some REALLY odd-ball hybrids and for get the
chemicals.

Maybe I'll blast some sequence that induces the phosphoflourescent
proteins in the back of firefly's, into some big ol' phal.

If it doesn't work in the genomic DNA, I'll blast it into some
mitochondrial Dna...Oh boy now that will make some freaks. LoL

Susan,

Yes I am dangerous. Why just this afternoon as I was swabbing some scale
off a prized Neofinetia falcata coerulea with a Q-tip I thought I heard
those scale say to their buddies, "Run! It's Dangerous Mick with a Q-tip
again". I am hell with a Q-tip and a bottle of soapy water/alcohol.

It's been done... Maybe not by that specific technique, but it has been
done.

If I recall, it was a dendrobium in Taiwan.

Speaking of that... is it true that vasectomies are relatively painless?

Steve,

I have no idea, but you never really hear guys complaining very much about
the pain. It's not like you are chopping off your finger or your big toe...
now that would probably hurt.
