How to pronounce...
Sorry to disappoint you all, but of course Eureka and Yreka were named after

At first I thought of the simple answer could be :- Pee-O-kerr Then I thought of the pronunciation of the word "people" Pee-Kerr I don't know but this is the way I would pronounce it with my SA accent. I got a little bit lost in this thread. Did anybody ever say how to
pronounce "Peoker"? I have always wondered what the word means to the person (Brother's Nursery) who registered it and why it was called "Golden" Peoker in the first place because every example I have ever seen of this grex is white with purple spots.
