More arrests....
I didn't read it as he thought the charges were valid or invalid.
It seemed to me his only comment that exposing corruption was good. See...I find it funny that this stuff always gets around to being a politicians fault, when the constant thread in this situation is that someone turned him in. George has said that many times, and although I rarely believe everything I read, this has come up enough that I have a hard time buying into repetitive coincidence. Why not put the blame where it belongs - on the person who alerted him to authorities. I have no doubt that whomever was in the Whitehouse, George would still be having the same issue. And as for Tennis's comment, he is free to move to another state in which he feels less repressed. I find it offensive that his post seems to indicate that he feels his problems are bigger than those of the wide audience that traffic this or any other group. He doesn't know the genetic makeup nor the personal circumstances of most of the people whom his message is received by. There are many communities in which he would be the majority if that is what would make him feel more comfortable. Crystal -- http://home.comcast.net/~xtals/orchid.htm "Ray" wrote in message ... But Geir. You're assuming that the charges are valid in the first place. I agree with Tennis that the "innocent until proven guilty" theorem is being badly trodden in this country under George II and his cronies, or should I say "puppeteers." -- Ray Barkalow - First Rays Orchids - www.firstrays.com Plants, Supplies, Books, Artwork, and Lots of Free Info! . . . . . . . . . . . Almost every day, I read about deliberate obstruction of justice, mal- and mis- feasance as well as downright theft, murder, assault and other abuse by members of our law enforcement agencies (including prosecutors, judges, and the FBI). They no longer deserve any of the trust previously reposed in them, and I am far more likely to believe anyone on the wrong side of them is on the right side of the law. rant I cannot believe anyone goes into rant mode because someone in a place of power is found out. It looks like - and this is what gives me the willies - you would actually prefer that these guys were not found out, and that this would make you trust these people more. To me, it looks like you want a system that doesn't catch these people - who will always be attracted to positions of power - just so you could have some peace of mind. Hear no evil, see no evil... I hope you didn't actually mean what you said. /rant Geir |
