New plants from "cane"cuttings?
Hi;
I took a spent cane [Dendrobium](no leaves) and cut it into sections, coated each cut end with rooting hormone, then placed it on a bed of wet sphagnum moss in a plasitc tray. Did I do O.K. so far? I placed the trao it is not in direct sun light but gets plenty of shaded light. How long do I wait for any rooting and if I do get roots where will the new sprout (plant) be positioned on the cut cane? Bob |
