Default english-italian plants

Hi, everybody
I'm translating a novel, set in South Africa, and I found those
plants, but I couldn't find the Italian equivalent of their names.
Is there anybody who can help me? Is there a website where I can go
and solve my doubts?

stinkwood = Pigeo africano?
yellowwood = (Podocarpus latifolius)
knob thorn = ?
camel thorn = ?
sweet thorn = ?
sugar bush = ?
arum = ?

Thanks in advance
Rerum
