Default any info about "black jasmine"?

hi all,

I'm travelling in India and bought a little of a nice-smelling oil
which the guy called "black jasmine." I've never heard of it and
wonder if anyone out there has heard of it, or if it's another name
for something else. the guy says it grows only for 2 months a year in
rocks at higher altitudes and it was priced about 40% higher than
regular jasmine, and definitely smells different.

please e-mail me directly as well as responding here if you can!

thanks much!
Ross
