Taxonomy
I am still trying to find the correct classification for Betula 'Trost's
Dwarf.' Somebody said it depends on whether the leaves are fuzzy. Well, let me tell you the entire leaf, petiole, & twig are fuzzier than a peach. Iris, Central NY, Zone 5a, Sunset Zone 40 "If we see light at the end of the tunnel, It's the light of the oncoming train." Robert Lowell (1917-1977) |
