Default Irrigation vs rainfall

Most of that water goes to California to maintain
otherwise unliveable cities like Los Angeles and Palm Springs and Las
Vegas
that are built in desert climates.


California is *always* a case unto itself, at least as
far as the PNWesterners are concerned ;-)
(But that's another story...)
Otoh, there's Texas with way too much water,
what a summer they have had!
