Default Ideas for filtration on a small pond

Hi..

Just another idea, and not sure it will work for your
situation but on my website click on *My Filter*
scroll down and you'll see several "flower pot"
filters, this gets the filter out of the pond

Thanks.

all the muck doesn't go back into the pond when you lift it out.

Pump would still be in the pond but you encase it in empty mesh baskets,
similar to this: http://users.owt.com/jjspond/koipond/photos/set1/09.jpg

(Do you know where your water quality is?)

Looks as if it would be workable...I've got one of those moulded fake
rock waterfall things that almost looks real...I could use the reservoir
at the top as the veggie filter. What filter medium do you use in this
type of set up or do you rely on the plants alone? Or would you add an
extra step and feed it through a cannister first?

TIA

If you're talking about the flower pot filter, the flowers on top, don't
normally have contact with the water, they're there just to fool the eye. I
use open cell foam in mine, but again wads of screening would work too.
