Oh, goodie a place for CArol to go to once rec.ponds.moderated is up
and all the other aquaia groups follow suit and go moderated, at least
Carol will not be a homeless yankee carpet bagger like she was when
her last hubby dumped her along I-40

See, that's why we want a Usenet forum...


'See'? See what exactly? Usenet groups are fine until the trolls get their
teeth into them, hence the need then for moderation. That's fine if it does
the job, but if the constraints of that moderation take the life and soul
out of the group, do you still win? There is a place for web based forums,
and I see no reason why the two forms of posting cannot live side by side. I
use both depending on the subject concerned.
