Default Quarantine question

I am moving koi I kept inside last winter to the outside pond. The procedure
as I understand it, is to put one koi from the pond into the quarantine.
Would it be acceptable to add a goldfish instead?

Must be a koi, if it is one of the viruses you're concerned about. ~ jan
