Interesting fish. Right size, seems to be cold water, quite
attractive, and it's sterile. It would also appear to not be banned in the state of WA. Or even regulated, for that matter. However, it looks like it only wants live prey: http://www.dnr.state.md.us/fisheries...germuskie.html "Tiger muskies are ambush predators and prefer large prey such as suckers, fallfish, and large minnows with a cylindrical shape similar to their own. Waiting motionless for prey to swim within range, muskies then strike their prey in the blink of an eye, sharp teeth preventing its escape before being turned and swallowed head first." This is more directly confirmed by http://www.aquariacentral.com/fishinfo/cold/pikes.htm "PIKES ONLY EAT LIVE FOOD." And therein lies the problem. Large quantities of live food are expensive. The local tree-climbing rat population is nice, because it's free and self-replenishing. Thanks, Monty On Tue, 09 Dec 2003 03:42:32 GMT, "John Lange" wrote: Monty look at this fish... OK, now we are back to Large Mouth Bass. They will eat anything that moves.
