Hi

have a water spitter and tulip headed fountain, do I need to leave them on
24 hours etc or can they be turned off for periods of time?

If you have fish in the pond it is healthiest for them to leave the fountain on
24/7.
If just plants then you can turn it off when you choose to.

Both my big pump for the veggie filter
and the spitter run 24/7/365.
