Of course, that's the lemon pepper version, but that's all I have.
Very good ON fish, I never thought about feeding it to them
beforehand.

I always feed my pet tuna, mayonaise. Saves the prep time later.

There's a reason we call our biggest GF PanFry! He's pre-seasoned and ready

Love this new rec.ponds term!!! You'll have to add a Koinkey page to your
web site, for pics and picturesque anecdotes.

I'm curious how you recognize the cross. We have several BFK, one young
koi, and GF in a number of colours (orange comet, albino, dusky,
shubunkin, calico fantail,....). How would we tell the parentage of
some new young fish that shows up?

What's Mrs Dash ?

A sodium-free salt substitute.

It contains: Onion, spices (black pepper, parsley, celery seed, basil,
bay, marjoram, oregano, savory, thyme, cayenne pepper, coriander, cumin,
mustard, rosemary), garlic, carrot, orange peel, tomato, lemon juice
powder, citric acid, oil of lemon.

Amount Per Serving: 1/4 tsp. (0.7g)

Potassium: 10mg

see http://mrsdash.com/

I would not say that Mrs. Dash was potassium chloride or even close to
being potassium chloride. It may be 2% KCl at most.

I think a bit of poetic license was at play.

The carbon filters out organic materials. It will not remove potash, salt
or other inorganics.

So I was thinking maybe tossing potash in to the filters, but will the
carbon filter it out?

I am not sure how to ID the parents, and to be quite honest I might be wrong
about this Koinkey, but...

He doesn't quite look like a goldie or a koi. He looks like both. He has Koi
like coloring, and his scales have an ople...opale...a sheen that is similar
to one of our koi, so I suspect that fish is the mommy or daddy.
