the business to Ken Fischer http://dandyorandas.com/) she has NOT retired from
helping people with sick GF and koi FOR FREE. 251-649-4790 phoning is best for

Yes, I agree, but its certainly no different than getting a diagnosis
from a forum or newsgroup either......so to most it should matter not.

## RIGHT - if they're 5 cent goldfish from Wal-Mart. If someone gives the
wrong information HERE, or questionable information, someone else will point
it out. That doesn't happen over the phone.

If your serious about fish health get a scope and learn how to use it,
learn what to look for, and put the questions to your local fisheries
department at the local university,

## Not everyone can afford this, nor has *time* when a favorite fish is
ill. Not everyone can just run out and drain down a 5,000 gallon pond to
catch a particular fish. Not all Universities have fish depts. Mr. Joann
has not been proven to be an expert as per Tom's posts.... and she's not a
veterinarian. After the charcoal recharged with hose water fiasco and
Dimilin deal I would certainly be skeptical of any advice she gave....

and most all universities have
such a department and are always willing to help........

## I got more help then I needed right HERE on this NG when my ponds/fish
were having a problem.

Carol.... the frugal ponder...

Let us not forget another gem in the advice department.

=B7 Draw your change water ahead of time
{Good so far}

=B7 Run a couple of airstones in it for a couple of days
{Still good. But wait there's more!}

=B7 Use only the top 2/3 of the container because "all the bad stuff"
is in the bottom 1/3.
{Ding! Get the fork, we're done.}

Now, weren't we just using an airstone or three and bubbling that H2O
around at "warp speed"? Must be some pretty-smart bad-stuff to know to
stay in the bottom 2/3 of the barrel.

Lilly

ps: To Ingrid's credit she has at least removed the "leading expert"
and other references about JoAnn's alleged "credentials".

· Draw your change water ahead of time
{Good so far}

## I never did. The freshly dechlored tap water goes straight into the
tank.

· Run a couple of airstones in it for a couple of days
{Still good. But wait there's more!}

## Waste of time in my opinion.

· Use only the top 2/3 of the container because "all the bad stuff"
is in the bottom 1/3.
{Ding! Get the fork, we're done.}

## LOL!!! :-D

## Amen! And don't we all want bubbling barrels of water sitting around
our livingrooms or apartments?

Lilly

## I didn't bother to read it this time.....
