Ack! I consider myself something of a beer connoisseur and I love wheat
beers - but I can't see "clove" being a good thing, and "banana" is
generally a fault caused by bad brewing practices. Hardly "in the classic
style".

My son will tell you that his mother knows
nothing, nothing about beer since, in college, she
drank it with, shudder, tomato juice... so,
heck, bananas? why not?!

I have never gotten very excited for any wheat beer. My wife enjoys them.
The one year I brewed a cherry Hefe, she loved it. Not for me.
